WGI Work In The Philippines Highlighted In News Article

MANILA (July 9th, 2017) - The Philippine Star, one of The Philippines’ leading newspapers, recently did an article on international organization WGI and its founder, Chance Wilson.

The article, written by Christian Imperio, chronicles the founding story of WGI, its international growth, and its current work in The Philippines. WGI, through its local affiliate WGI Philippines, is supporting orphaned children in Manila via its Read and Rice program. These children are being provided free classes and food via the program.

WGI’s work in The Philippines is done via its partnership with Concordia’s Children’s Services. Together, WGI and Concordia are reaching a number of children in the Santa Mesa area who stand to benefit from increased literacy skills.
