Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world, is our first affiliate in the United States.
WGI Los Angeles was born out of a desire to increase our presence in the United States. Prior to our launch locally, WGI only operated in one American city. Our launch in Los Angeles reflects our renewed commitment to fighting illiteracy in our home country.
In Los Angeles, WGI is supporting our mission through our You Can Read campaign. Through You Can Read, we're mobilizing volunteers to read with students in Los Angeles schools. This effort serves as a catalyst for increased childhood literacy and awareness of illiteracy in the community.
