Jakarta, our newest international affiliate, is the bustling center of the world's largest muslim nation.

As WGI continued to scale its existing affiliates around the world, an exciting opportunity was presented to launch in Jakarta. Capitalizing on this chance to serve more people in the region, WGI Jakarta was launched in late 2017.

WGI Jakarta is giving the power of education to impoverished children in the city. Initially, with partners like KDM and Ydigital Asia, we supported local street children through our Read and Rice program. This partnership saw these students receive free classes and food from our coalition.

WGI Jakarta is now partnering with Yayasan ISCO (Indonesian Street Children Organization). With our partners at ISCO, we are continuing to provide our Read and Rice program to street children in Indonesia.

WGI Jakarta, chaired by Anggiasari Hindratmo, is led by the pictured board members.
